Abstract

As waters rise and liberties fall, a covert war rages in the shadows. One woman's shattered psyche holds a secret that could decide the fate of millions.

In a world where memories are weapons, who can be trusted when the mind itself becomes a battlefield?

The flooded ruins of Warsaw, 2034. Russian occupation shadows every corner, nineteen-year-old Fritha clutches photographs of a life washed away. Once a devoted church-goer, now a traumatised refugee haunting an abandoned sanctuary, she retreats into fragmentary memories while resistance stirs in the drowned city.
Ukrainian journalist Diana Botosko sees herself reflected in this enigmatic orphan's fractured psyche - a mirror to her own grief. As waters rise and the mysterious Dendron threatens what remains, these two women must forge an unlikely bond, proving that even in humanity's darkest hour, connection might be our last salvation.
